Jan-Philip Uhlemann

I am a postdoctoral researcher in the production economics group at the University of Bonn.

My research interest lie in agricultural economics, technological change and econometrics. My PhD has focused on the economics of innovation and sustainability in the food processing sector. I currently work with patent data to study the relationship of innovation and sustainability in agriculture.

I received a BSc in Nutrition and Food Science from Bonn University in 2019, a MSc in Agricultural Economics from Humboldt University in 2021, and a PhD from at Wageningen University in 2025.
